Lisa Armstrong has liked a heartbreaking tweet that indicates she's 'in pain' following her estranged husband Ant McPartlin's arrest for alleged drink driving at the weekend.
The tweet read: "@lisaAmakeup i see the hurt & pain on your face today sorry your hounded & not given a moments peace your such a beautiful gracious lady i wish i could take all this pain away & wrap it up & throw it away so that we could see a smile once more upon your face & peace in your heart".
Ant was arrested on Sunday after allegedly losing control on a roundabout and smashing into two cars. He then failed a breathalyser test.
After the incident, ITV released a statement saying Ant would be returning to rehab and that this week's episode of Saturday Night Takeaway had been cancelled.
A spokesperson said: "ITV has taken a joint decision with Ant and Dec’s team not to broadcast Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend.
"We will be reviewing options for the last two episodes of the series (March 31 and April 7) which would not feature Ant who is taking time off to seek treatment. We very much hope that he gets the help that he needs."
After much speculation about what would happen with the final two episodes of the show, Declan Donnelly confirmed he would be returning to host them without Ant.
He said in a statement: "Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead.
"We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that.
