The pop star directed the photo at the controversial social commentator with the caption ‘Just going to the shop, want anything Katie?’

Lily looked stylish in a short, black body-con dress, showing off her newly svelte figure.

The photo was a response to an interview with heatworld during which Katie said that Lily becoming a mum ‘largely involved gaining 2 stone and looking pretty hideous.’

Lily took to Twitter soon after with a series of angry tweet.

She started writing: ‘Oh, and whilst ‘weighing me up.’ Fat shaming, you were stone out, I gained 3 not 2!’

Lily then blasted Katie with ‘There’s always plastic surgery ya know. Maybe they could dew your mouth up whilst they fix the rest of you.’

Lily has been losing weight ahead of her music comeback.

Lily tweeted further to address her pregnancy weight gain, which is what Katie cruelly picked her out for in the interview.

She wrote: ‘I wasn’t exercising because I didn’t want to take risks, and funnily enough the survival of my children felt more important than being thin.’

She continued: ‘after tragically loosing a child so late in my pregnancy I may have gained a few pounds, I am one of the many that find comfort in food.’

Lily then deleted the tweets, explaining to fans: ‘Sorry about that, but my babies are a touchy subject and I gave her exactly what she wanted by responding. I am going to delete it all.’

Katie has yet to respond to the photo or Lily's tweets.
