The singer has admitted that she can’t listen to her cover of Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’.

In a UK radio interview, Lily, 28, said: “I can’t listen to the song, I’ve gotta be honest. It’s quite shrill.”

And Lily didn’t stop there. She also revealed that she ‘can’t stomach’ debut single smile.

During the interview, Lily hinted that her feud with US rapper Azalia Banks inspired her when writing her new album.

She said: “I was in the studio and this person started being really horrible to me. This person was particularly nasty for no apparent reason. It was brilliant- it ignited this juvenile flame in my belly.”

Speaking about her family, husband Sam Cooper and children Ethel, nearly two, and Marnie, 11 months, Lily said: “I want to spend as much time with my kids, and if I had to go to LA I would have to leave them behind.

“So I try not to, I stay at home and hang up my cashmere blankets.”

Lily did fly to LA this week though, and she tweeted her excitement about sharing a plan with none other than One Direction.

She wrote today: “Alas, no mile high club action with any member of 1D for me. Jolly nice chaps though. LA, nice to be here and not on freezing England.”
