Liam Payne has taken to Twitter to congratulate his ex Cheryl for the release of her new single 'Love Made Me Do It'.
Cheryl dropped her brand new single, 'Love Made Me Do It', this morning (9th Nov). The singer, who will be performing at Hits Live in Manchester on Sunday 25th November, dropped her first release in four years after stepping away from the music world following the release of her last album, 'Only Human', in 2014.
Whilst many fans took to Twitter to praise Cheryl for her brand new release, there was one message of congratulations that many were not expecting to see - from her ex-boyfriend, Liam Payne.
The One Direction star took to Twitter with a sweet message for Cheryl, which read, 'Congratulations @CherylOfficial on your first release in 4 years can’t wait for everyone to hear the rest 🙌🏼🌹.' [sic]

Speaking to Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast, Cheryl explained, "All the music and all the songs that I’ve got ready were done way before we split, none of them are about anybody. I wasn’t sat writing a love poem to anyone or about anybody.
"It’s something that anyone who’s been in love will be able to relate to in some way or another. It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!"
