Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few days, you will know that it was recently revealed that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (formerly Cole) is dating One Direction’s Liam Payne.

And, as is always the way for any 1D girlfriend, the band’s fans were not happy.

Taking to social media, they slammed the brunette songstress as a “wh*ore” and a “cradle-snatcher”, referencing the couple’s 10-year age gap.

However Chezza, as we all know, isn’t the sort to take things lying down.

Last night, it seemed as if the X Factor judge had decided it was time to address her many, many, MANY love rivals.

Taking to her Instagram, she chose not to share a photograph of her and her new beau.

Instead, she gave her bio a not-so-cryptic tweak.

It now reads: ““When people hate on you, it’s because you’ve got something they want.”

Miaow!

Cheryl added, somewhat less cattily: “All love… good vibes only.”

However, much like the rest of us, Cheryl clearly sometimes suffers from social media regret.

After a few hours, she’d clearly thought better of her message, changing it to simply read: “All love… good vibes only.”

The Sun broke the story of Cheryl and Liam’s romance last week and, while neither of the pair have confirmed the reports, Liam has since shared a VERY intimate selfie of himself with Cheryl.

In the shot, she can be seen costing up against the 1D star’s bare chest and shooting a peace sign (and a small, knowing smile) at the camera.

Reports claim that Liam and Cheryl first felt that spark around the time of the X Factor final last year, when Liam and his bandmates performed on the ITV show.

After flirting shamelessly (according to eyewitnesses), the duo went their separate ways.

However they met again when Cheryl signed to Modest Management, who have managed 1D since they left X Factor five years ago, and love has clearly blossomed since.

So much so that the cute couple were spotted doing a spot of food shopping together in Guildford on Saturday night - the very last word in romantic nights out.

It has also been reported that Liam whisked Cheryl away to a private Maldives island for an ultra-lush Valentine’s Day celebration.

Do you think they make a cute couple?
