Liam Payne has confirmed his relationship with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini by sharing an intimate selfie of the pair.
In the black and white shot, the One Direction singer, 22, and The X Factor judge, 32, can be seen snuggling up to each other while Liam is topless.
The couple appear to be lying on the sofa or in bed together and Liam posted the picture as his Instagram profile image and changed his biography to “happy”.
The news comes soon after the pair was spotted shopping together in the pet food aisle of a Tesco in Guildford, Surrey this weekend.
The onlooker wrote on Twitter: “It was definitely Cheryl and Liam but unfortunately I didn’t get a picture. They were in my local Tesco in Guildford at midnight.”
Cheryl and Liam have secretly been dating since December, the same month that Cheryl split from her husband of 19 months, Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
They were caught on camera in an embrace during a break on The X Factor stage at the final just before Christmas last year.
Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl opened her arms to greet Liam as he kissed her on the cheek.
The pair first met when Liam was just 14 years old when he auditioned for The X Factor for the first time.
They then met again when Liam returned to audition for the show at the age of 17 which was when he was put into his band with the other 1D members.
Last month Liam got a tattoo of a rose on his hand which is thought to be a tribute to Cheryl’s rose inking that she has on her back and bum.
