But Lewis tells Closer that despite his playboy reputation, he is taking his role on TOWIE seriously and even shaped up in time for his TV debut.
The 23-year-old reality star told Closer he lost three stone before joining the show. “I was bigger before, and a few people said I looked like Arg so I decided to lose the weight. I actually lost 3 stone in two months.”
Lewis, who admitted it was hard seeing ex-girlfriend Sam Faiers living out all her dreams on the reality show while he didn’t have the success he’d always dreamt of hopes TOWIE is a step in the right direction.
Lewis says his dream would be to become an actor and hopes that his new slim body and time on TOWIE will help to raise his profile.
Lewis says: “I would love to be like Leonardo DiCaprio. People have said that I look like him. If I could have been half the man Leonardo is I will consider my time on TOWIE a success. My Grandad Sydney Blore was in big films, like A Brief Encounter and The Story Of Life And Death in the 40s.”
