Lauryn Goodman has extended an olive branch to Annie Kilner’s sister Sian, after a new baby bombshell, as news broke last week that she had given birth to a baby boy with a married father of four.
Lauryn – who has had two children with Annie’s husband Kyle Walker – has made a public attempt to reach out and offer her advice and support to Sian instead.
‘Despite everything that’s gone on, fundamentally Lauryn feels sorry for Sian. She’s been where Sian has – on the receiving end of torment and abuse for having an affair with a married man, resulting in a child,’ a source close to the star tells Closer. ‘She knows what it’s like to be shamed and pressured into silence.’
Lauryn, 33, is mum to Kairo, four, and Kinara, 15 months, with footballer Kyle, 34. Kairo was reportedly conceived while Annie, 33, and Kyle were on a break, but the truth about Kyle fathering Kinara came out when Annie was heavily pregnant with her fourth child, Rezon.
At the time the news broke of Lauryn having another of Kyle’s children, Sian, 26, sent various messages to Lauryn in support of Annie. So when this news broke, Lauryn was quick to take to Instagram to offer her own help and advice.
‘People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,’ she posted. ‘All jokes aside, congratulations Sian. I would @ you but you seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth after being very nasty and vocal whilst knowing very little about my situation. But from one mother to another who’s been through the trenches... If you need help or if you’d like some advice, let me know. I know more than anyone how hard it is to be left alone at a really hard time.’
‘Even though Sian has publicly trolled Lauryn, Lauryn doesn’t hold grudges and knows how it feels to be alone at such a vulnerable time,’ our source adds.
‘It can be really lonely, so she congratulated her publicly on social media to show her support. She’s spoken out a lot about how she would advise any woman in this situation to stand strong and do what’s best for them and their children – after all, children are blessings.’
After the news broke, Sian made a statement about her sister, saying, ‘This is a sensitive situation for Annie, she absolutely doesn’t condone my behaviour and is appalled at the upset it may cause. I sincerely apologise for any pain I have caused to the families involved, including my own.’
The news would have come as another major blow for Annie, who’s also mum to Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five, who is reportedly in talks with Kyle to hand her £15 million before reconsidering a reconciliation in their marriage. This news broke on the same day as images were printed of Kyle publicly urinating for the second time after a night out.
