It’s been a difficult few weeks for Lauryn Goodman, after reports emerged that she had given birth to yet another child with footballer Kyle Walker – leading to the England star splitting from his long-term partner Annie Kilner.
And now, insiders say that Lauryn, 32, has also seen her ongoing feud with her sisters reach fever pitch.
The source says, “There’s been so much hurt on both sides over the last few weeks. Annie is of course devastated at what’s happened – made even more traumatic by the fact that she’s currently six months pregnant with their fourth child.
“Meanwhile, Lauryn is feeling completely isolated and alone – as well as having fallen out with her family over all this, she’s had friends turn their backs on her too. But at the same time, there is a sense of relief that the truth is out.”
The insider adds, “Of course Lauryn’s sisters, Amelia and Chloe, have checked in with her. Despite falling out, they still want to know she’s OK. But that’s where it ends – they’re not interested in having a full relationship with her while she behaves in this way. It’s all too raw and the girls are livid with Lauryn.”
The drama began in 2020, after it emerged that Kyle, 33, had fathered a son named Kairo, now three, with Lauryn. The fling took place while Kyle was briefly separated from childhood sweetheart Annie, 30, who had reportedly split from the footballer after Ex On The Beach star Laura Brown claimed the couple had romped in the back of his car.
Kyle and Annie – who share sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five – reconciled and married in 2021. But earlier this month, heavily pregnant Annie confirmed that she was separating from Kyle. Their split came soon after reports emerged that the sportsman was the father of Lauryn’s second child, a baby girl whose name has not been made public. Born in July 2023, the child was conceived during Kyle’s seemingly happy marriage to Annie.
Coming clean and alleging that the football player had lulled her into a “false sense of security”, Lauryn revealed, “I didn’t want to split them up, but it had to be out in the open for all of our sakes.”
In recent years, Lauryn has faced family drama after falling out with sisters Chloe, 30, and Amelia, 25. Beautician Amelia addressed the scandal last week, writing, “It’s been made clear through the tons of hate I am receiving that if I stay silent people seem to think I’m part of it. I would like to make it clear that I have never and will never be involved in this situation. I do not speak to anyone associated with it either.”
And the source now says, “Lauryn’s relationship with Kyle and her behaviour was the reason she fell out with her sisters years ago. Lauryn ignored her sisters’ advice when it was all going on, and the girls were fed up with hearing about it. They couldn’t understand Lauryn’s behaviour, so it’s been a family at war for a few years.”
Chloe has also spoken out about her own past experience. When discussing her ex-fiancé Jordan Clarke, 32, in 2018, she said she had been “betrayed in the worst way possible” – something he neither confirmed nor denied.
However the former Ex On The Beach star is now happily married to footballer Grant Hall, 32, with whom she shares daughter Isla, three, and son Hudson, one.
And now, the source adds, “Chloe knows how it must feel – she’s a total girl’s girl and can’t stand any kind of betrayal, let alone someone having two kids with a married man. She’s found the whole thing incredibly embarrassing and so has distanced herself.
“On top of that, Chloe’s husband Grant is also a footballer and has mutual friends with Kyle. It’s been hugely embarrassing for him too.”
Lauryn has fled the country with her children and jetted off on holiday to the Caribbean. But while she’s hoping to escape the media storm, this drama won’t blow over easily.
The source adds, “They want Lauryn to apologise and own her mistakes, otherwise she won’t have her sisters back on side. The friends she does have around her just want her to back away from the drama, learn from what’s happened and focus on her two children.”
