Lauren Goodger has been forced to have her weight loss battle played out in public and after unflattering pictures of her in a bikini were published earlier this month, pals she’s been left feeling under attack by the reaction of some of the Essex set.

In this week’s Closer insiders reveal it’s started new rows with Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh – after she suggested in an interview that Lauren should read her new book to get health and fitness tips.

A source says: “After seeing the pictures, Sam got in touch and offered to help, but Lauren was incredibly offended and lashed out. Lauren feels she’s being attacked by the whole of Essex – she thinks Sam and Lucy, who are both a size 8 and naturally thin, have no idea what she’s going through and she doesn’t want their help. She finds it very hurtful.”
