Lauren Goodger previously dated fellow The Only Way Is Essex co-star Mark Wright, which didn’t end on the best of terms.

Since dating Mark, who’s now married to Michelle Keegan, Lauren has been in a relationship with Jake McLean, but now the couple have parted ways and are unlikely to get back together.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Lauren revealed that a “weight has been lifted” since ending her relationship with Jake.

Recalling her previous relationship, Lauren admitted: “My last relationship [with Mark Wright] was toxic and I jumped straight into a relationship with Jake and that turned out to be toxic, too.”

Lauren admitted that she doesn’t want another relationship like her previous two, but is definitely still open to finding a new romance – after she’s had a bit of me-time.

She explained: “I want to find pure love with someone who had nothing but respect for me.

“Until then I’m going to concentrate on myself.”

As Jake is now living with friends, Lauren wants a “clean break” and says she’s “relieved it’s over”.

Speaking about what she intends to do next, Lauren revealed she’s going to start training again and look after herself – and save a bit of money.

We wonder what she could be planning to spend it on?

Could we see Lauren opt for a ‘breakover’ like these celebrities did after their break ups, or will we see the brunette spend some time soaking up the sun on a much-needed holiday?

However, just last week Closer revealed that Lauren is “desperate to be a mum” according to a source close to the reality star.

They said: “She’s now told her inner circle that she still wants to go ahead with having a baby without Jake. She’s even been researching the idea of having a sperm donor.”
