Lauren Goodger has revealed a tattoo to honour her late daughter Lorena following herheartbreaking death last month.
The former TOWIE star, who is also mum to one-year-old daughter Larose, has had Lorena’s name inked on her forearm along with a butterfly and proudly showed off the tattoo on her Instagram story over the weekend.
She later revealed that the tattoo was “special” as it had been tattooed with Lorena’s ashes.
As she revealed the tattoo on social media, Lauren wrote, “So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes.
“It’s something special 🦋 her ashes are now tattooed in my forever 💔😢🦋.”
She added, “Everyday I go through my list that is full of things that I have to do either for my babies, my home, my future for my Larose and my 👼 baby… This was one on my list that was on my mind everyday and I’m so glad it’s ☑️.”
Lauren announced that Lorena had died in an emotional Instagram post last month as she shared a black and white photo of her holding the newborn’s hand.
She wrote, “👼Lorena👼 R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x… words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.
“There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken 💔.”
It’s been a difficult month for Lauren, who found out her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean had died just days before she gave birth to Lorena. She was then left with a suspected fractured eye socket after suffering an alleged assault at her Essex home on the day of Lorena’s funeral.
Lauren’s on/off boyfriend of two years – and the father of Larose and Lorena – Charles Drury was reportedly arrested just hours after they laid their baby girl to rest on Wednesday.
Since then, Lauren is said to be focused on her eldest daughter Larose. A source told Closer, “Lauren says Larose is giving her the strength to carry on – she’s been incredibly brave considering everything that’s she’s been through over the last few weeks. It’s been the scariest time of her life. But Larose is her priority and she’s like a lioness around her.”
