While most of us are spending this weekend snuggled up watching films and scoffing chocolate, Lauren, 28, has shown her dedication to shifting the weight she claims is making her so unhappy.

The former TOWIE star shared some snaps from her workout, including one of her doing lunges while giving her niece a piggy back.

She wrote: “Had my little Ellie helping me train this evening .. Lunges #niece #babysitting #schoolHolidays”

Proving that her hard work is paying off, Lauren flashed her lithe figure with another selfie. She wrote: “There’s a difference between being skinny and being FIT – this is my aim. #bubblebutt [sic].”

Lauren’s determination comes after she confessed to being unhappy with the way she looks.

Writing in her column for new! magazine, she said: “I’ve had enough of being fat so I’ve started training. I’m working out with two of my mates who are motivating me to get into shape.

“I don’t want to be a fat failure anymore! I’ve set myself a target of training three times a week.”

It’s been reported that Lauren is working on her own fitness DVD, no doubt hoping to emulate the success of Geordie Shore stars Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison.
