Ex-TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has opened up about the heart-breaking miscarriage she suffered whilst on Dancing On Ice.
In an episode of In Therapy, a TV programme where celebrities open up to leading therapists, Lauren reveals that she had a miscarriage in 2013 whilst participating on the ITV show.
She was expecting a baby by her boyfriend at the time, Jake McLean. Although she didn't say how far into her pregnancy she was, she did say: "I had to try and perform when I was quite far gone. It didn’t last.
"I'm the type of person who, when something happens, I move on. That's how I am. It's not something I addressed. I just moved on."
This comes after Lauren has expressed her determination to become a mother, and hopes to get pregnant by her current boyfriend Joey Morrison, who is currently in prison for offences including burglary and drug dealing. Speaking to Closer in December, she said: "I'll have a baby next year. I want one right now, really. Hopefully I'll have a little girl, but if I have a boy first, then it's fine because she'll have an older brother.
"People don't think I can be a hands-on mum but I'll be doing the night feeds and changing all the nappies. I've been so selfish all my life, but I know that when I have a baby it won't be all about me any more.
"I've reached 30 and it's really changed me and made me think about what I want to do with my life. I've always been desperate for a baby but I wasn't ready - now I am."
She also said that she wanted to spend Christmas Day with him this year, but unfortunately the prison was closed. She said of her beau: "It's really narrow-minded that people see him as a criminal. Joey's not a bad person because he's in prison. Yes, he's not been an angel but people deserve a second chance and his crimes never involved innocent people."
Lauren has previously opened up about her first pregnancy, which she terminated, when she was in a relationship with ex-fiancé Mark Wright.
The reality star said to OK! in 2011: "I've been pregnant before with his baby but I chose not to have it. I was only 20. No one knows except my close family. I was still living with my mum, our relationship was so volatile and we weren't ready for a baby."
We hope it all comes good for you, Lauren!
