The 28-year-old recently went public with boyfriend Jake McLean, in a bid to prove she’s not still pining for her ex-fiancé Mark, also 28.
But, despite getting 25-year-old Jake’s name tattooed on her wrist last week, a recent photo of the happy couple sparked backlash, with many of Lauren’s followers claiming he looks like Mark.
“Hilarious, he’s the double of Mark!” wrote one fan, while another said, “She likes Mark lookalikes then lol !! [sic].”
Despite the majority of comments mocking Lauren for the ‘obvious comparisons’, some were quick to defend the former TOWIE star.
One sympathised: “As long as she’s happy that’s the main thing, I guess x [sic].”
Lauren and presenter Mark have been at loggerheads since his wedding to Michelle Keegan, 28, last month.
After she used her magazine column to dismiss claims she wasn’t over him, Mark slammed Lauren on Twitter, branding her an ‘embarrassing weirdo’.
But Lauren has refused to be dragged into Mark’s undignified public spat and instead claimed he should’ve been focusing on his new wife when he was busy attacking her.
Now sources close to Essex girl Lauren have revealed she and Jake are even considering having a baby to show how much she’s moved on.
An insider told Closer: “Lauren has been through so much drama lately, but finally feels settled with Jake. She’d love to have a baby with him and doesn’t want to wait much longer as she feels like it would complete them.”
