Lauren Goodger, 27, shared a quote image on her Instagram page, which read: "I'm learning that there is a difference between love and comfort.

"A difference between loyalty and stupidity.

"A difference between someone who wants me around because they can't stand the thought of losing me, and someone who only wants me to stay just so that they can continue using me."

But, while this seemed telling enough, it was the message Lauren shared in the caption which proved to be the most cryptic.

Writing in third person, the troubled TOWIE star - who previously dated Mark Wright and Jake McLean - emotionally wrote: "She may come across as hard to get and sometimes she acts like a lost girl… the fortress she has built to protect her heart from the damages she has been through.

"She loves deeply and that lost girl would make the perfect wife… but did you tell her that? Did you believe in her so she can believe in herself? Or did you hate with anger or disgust?"

Lauren, who broke down on television as she admitted she was not over her ex, went on to add a positive spin to her message, writing: "We build walls and say things we don't mean because she wants that one to make her secure because she won't believe it.

"Until you show her, words don't mean anything - it's actions that show her your love and teaches her how to be better!

"I don't apologise for anything! The battle of love I'm happy who I am things I have learnt… big hearts beat stronger and is more powerful than anything else.

"Love your women, forget what people say… and that is the most beautiful thing of all."
