Is Lauren Goodger and Joey Morrison set to become the new reality power couple?
We've seen her on TOWIE, Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice but now Lauren Goodger has revealed she's "in talks" about a TV show and her boyfriend Joey Morrison could join her on it.
The reality star has been dating her partner Joey for almost a year while he's in prison serving a 17-year sentence for burglary, drug dealing and blackmail. She recently hinted that he might be released from prison in summer this year and it seems like she's already got plans for the pair after his release.
The 30-year-old has admitted she would go definitely into business with her boyfriend in the future. She said: "Definitely a bit further down the line. We always speak about it, although he doesn’t want to be in the public eye.
"But I’m in talks to do a TV show, and he’ll have to be a part of that. He ain’t got a choice," she told Reveal magazine.
And a source has admitted that Lauren is fully aware that a show featuring herself and Joey would be "ratings gold". They told the Sun Online: "By harnessing the power of social media while he’s inside, she's made sure he's got a good number of followers he can hit the ground running when he gets out."
While Joey has been in prison his girlfriend has set up an Instagram account for him and she recently slammed one of his followers after they claimed 'Joey' had liked one of her photos.
On Instagram Lauren wrote: "Joey gets the magazines inside every week got today and rang me laughing about the story tbh.
"He even said they have used really bad pics of me and used "stunning" pics of this girl and laughed. So sad they would entertain such a pathetic story about a like of a pic and even Joey said to me, if he was home after 7 and a half years inside, hes ‘jail goggles’ wouldn’t even class the girl as average. [sic]"
She added: "So sad and hungry for limelight over a like on a picture."
Eek!
Insiders recently revealed to Closer magazine that Joey is helping Lauren get into shape from prison. The TOWIE stars weight has fluctuated over the years but friends have said she works out eight hours a day so she's perfect for her boyfriend.
A source told the publication: "Lauren wants to give the body of his dreams for when he finally gets out of prison and she’s throwing herself into fitness.
"She’s been to two boot camps in the space of two weeks - one in Essex and the other one in Spain and she's completely exhausted."
