Despite claiming she was simply uploading a photo of her idol, users hit out her and accused her of trying to pass off Carmen's body as her own.

Laughing the whole thing off, Lauren posted: "Paahahahaha-as if I wld pass myself off as Carmen Electra! For a start there is a slight different in our bust size… #BodyIdol #Inspiration.

"Must've been a really interesting story for people to read."

She then retweeted a fan who'd responded: "Jealousy's a funny ol'thing!!!"

A spokesperson for Lauren told the Mirror: "Anyone that follows Lauren knows that she loves Carmen Electra and has openly spoken about her as a body idol.

"She has never once suggested or insinuated and nor would she, that the picture is her – it is nothing more than a tribute to a woman whose body she admires."

This new claim comes after Lauren almost faced legal action earlier this year, when she posted a photo of US model Carmen Ortega.

Her followers on Instagram thought she was trying to insinuate that the photo was of her.

But at the time Lauren insisted she'd had the photo sent to her by a friend and uploaded it because she was told there was a resemblance between her and Carmen.
