The 28-year-old shared a cryptic message to Instagram today, suggesting that she and Jake are having problems.

“Be w/ someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically, but take care of ur soul, ur well being, ur heart, & everything that’s you [sic],” the quote read.

Lauren wrote alongside it: “Had chats tonight with couple of friends – remember – you’re worth it #girls #imworthit [sic].”

Last month former TOWIE star Lauren revealed plans to start a family with 26-year-old Jake, and admitted that she wants to be a young mum.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I'd love for us to get married one day but I think we'll have children first. I'd love to have our kids there on our wedding day.

“I still have a few things I want to achieve in my career but I want to be a young mum so we don't want to wait too long. I can't wait to be the mum of Jake's children.”

It comes after Lauren was forced to defend herself against former fiancé Mark Wright, who blasted her on Twitter and labelled her an ‘embarrassing weirdo’.

But Lauren fumed: “It was embarrassing that those tweets were made when he was on his honeymoon and I was away with my boyfriend, having an amazing holiday – in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai.

“I’m in love with someone else, and so is Mark, and everyone needs to get over it.”
