Lauren Goodger appeared on Loose Women this morning to set the record straight on her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison - and also revealed that she would freeze her eggs.
She has made no secret of the fact that she would love to become a mother one day and have a family, so this revelation should come as no surprise to those who have been following her so far.
The admission came just as the show ended when Andrea McLean asked her if she would freeze her eggs, and Lauren confirmed that she would.
Andrea McLean asked her what her biggest fear was, prompting: "Not having children?"
Lauren then said: "Oh God... I really do hope I do."
Penny Lancaster chimed in, saying she could always freeze her eggs. Lauren said: "Well this is the thing! I'm not scared to do that - I would happily do that.
"It's different these days for women, isn't it? I would freeze my eggs."
She also opened up about her relationship with jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison, saying that she's under no illusions but that she's just hoping it will work out.
She said: "I've fallen in love with someone at face value. Normally, when you meet a guy, you go on dates and drink - it can take a long time to get to know someone. I've gotten to know him so well, he's gotten to know me because we sit across from each other and talk, and we've got to know each other by face value and respect and love each other."
Kaye Adams then addressed the elephant in the room - saying that she "worried" for Lauren: "You've had your ups and downs emotionally, you've had some not-so-good relationships, I know you desperately want this happy ever after - but you're going out on a limb with this guy, let's be honest, you've not known him a long time.
"When he's in prison, he's living a very un-real life - this gorgeous girl is paying attention to him when he's in this hellish place... Of course he's going to be nice and lovely and write long letters! Do you think you'll wait a while before you get onto babies and things?"
Lauren shot back: "Listen, I'm not naïve. I'm quite a strong, clued-up girl and... He doesn't need to be with me and I don't need to be with him. Other girls used to go and visit him every week and I know that. He doesn't need to settle down but he's chosen to be with me and commit to me and say, 'right, I'm coming out to you'.
"He knows that he needs to get a normal job and work his way up. He's very intelligent and he's done a lot of courses inside. He's got a lot of trades which he's done.
"I do believe him, that he's going to come out and get straight and sort himself out, I do."
