While we're used to Lauren hitting back on Twitter, the Celebrity Big Brother star has maintained a dignified silence, and instead is focusing on her career.

The budding pop star revealed that she's pushing ahead with plans for a music career.

During his humiliating posts, Jake called Lauren 'the biggest let down I no [sic]' and added 'keep it up girl your doing great [sic]'.

Jake has since deleted his tweets. Lauren did send one reply to him yesterday, but still managed to remain calm.

She wrote: "sorry @mcleanjake if I've upset you, you are very important person in my life and always will be. #real"

The bizarre attack comes after Lauren broke down in the CBB house and admitted she still loves Jake.

She told B*Witched singer Edele Lynch: "When he was in my life, he would never let anyone say a bad word about me. But what have I done? I've f***** it up."

Earlier this year, a sex clip showing Lauren performing an intimate act on Jake was leaked.
