Lauren Goodger, 29, and Jake McLean’s relationship has come under a lot of scrutiny in the past few months.
But her latest Instagram post has left her fans worried that she is being treated like a ‘doormat’ by her boyfriend.
She shared a quote on her Instagram page, which read: “He was attracted to her looks, but fell in love with her mind.
“It wasn’t her body that made him stay, it was that she was that she was the first woman that challenged him to live a better way.”
Many have associated the list of rules with an emotionally abusive relationship, as it seems to glorify a controlling and jealous partner - one who uses threats and intimidation to stop his girlfriend having any friends of her own.
In the same year, Lauren also shared a shocking image to her Instagram, which also seemed to glorify abusive relationships.
In the image, we see a half-naked woman having her hair pulled and bottom grabbed fiercely by an unseen man.
Wearing a wristband of sharp studs, it looks as if the man is also pressing these spikes into the anonymous girl's back.
The image is emblazoned with the phrase: "You got to take charge in life.
"Women want a man… not a boy."
One user commented: "This looks like it's encouraging violent behaviour."
Another added: "That looks like rape."
What do you make of Lauren Goodger’s latest Instagram post - is it encouraging ‘doormat’ behaviour, or is it simply old-fashioned traditions?
