The identity of the man in the clip remains a mystery, but understandably the reality star has been left feeling helpless.
A source told a UK newspaper: “Lauren is distraught that somebody who she trusted has allowed this to happen.
“She is furious it has been sent to so many people. It was a private moment and was never intended to be seen by anybody else.
“But there is nothing she can do to stop it. Laws need to be changed to put an end to revenge porn.”
So far, those who post ‘revenge porn’ (videos and pictures of a sexual nature online of ex-girlfriends) do not face prosecution from police, but there have been calls to change the law to protect young women from suffering the same fate as Lauren.
Lauren has been single since splitting from boyfriend Jake McLean last year.
Following the split she posted on her Instagram page: “People think that the most painful thing in life is losing the one you value.
“The truth is, the most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much.”
She then added: “I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous.”
