Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has revealed she's pregnant with her second baby just six months after welcoming daughter Larose.

In fact, Lauren is already four months along, having conceived a mere eight weeks after giving birth the first time. It will be her second child with on-off boyfriend Charles Drury, who she recently split from for a second time after he reportedly spent the night with another woman.

Speaking about the "unplanned" pregnancy, Lauren said, "We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really pleased, but being honest I was really in two minds about it. I was like, 'I’m just getting myself back together – I’m going back to square one. Is this fair?'.

"You get real mum guilt, like, 'What about Larose? She’s still a baby, she still needs me, I won’t be able to be there for her'. A lot went through my mind which is why I’ve held out a bit longer until I’ve announced it. Charlie was like, 'I really want this baby.' And I said, 'So do I.' I made the decision to go ahead with it and I’m so glad I did."

According to OK! magazine, Lauren has confirmed that Charlie is no longer in the picture - less than two months after they split the first time while Larose was hospitalised with "flu-like symtoms".

"I was eight weeks pregnant [when Larose was in hospital]," she told the same publication. "It was the hardest thing ever! I don’t know how I’ve gone through everything I’ve gone through. But I got through it and I’m in my second trimester now. I might not be able to have a home birth again. I don’t think I can scream the house down while Larose is here – it’ll be traumatic for her. I’m going to have a natural birth again. My mum’s been staying, so she can look after her."

While they're not currently a couple, Lauren says that she and Charles will co-parent their new child, another girl, and that she's "really confident" about their new arrangement.

Lauren raised eyebrows in September 2016 when she first started dating Joey, 33, while he was still in prison for a string of violent drugs-related charges. Defending their romance on Channel 5's In Therapy while they were still together, Lauren said, "This is the weirdest relationship ever, but it's exciting and I think that's why I like it. A bad boy never cheats, a bad boy is very loyal. They're strong family men, they've just got a bit of a naughty side to them." Opting for a tattoo hat-trick, Lauren also got Joey's name inked, once Jake's had been removed. The pair were together for two and a half years before they broke up in 2018.

Lauren and Ricci appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together, where he confessed to falling for her. But sadly for the Geordie lad, Lauren was adamant nothing would happen between them. Yet, despite the TOWIE star telling Vicky Pattison's ex that they would only ever "just be friends", the pair were inseparable at the post-eviction party. They were seen kissing and cuddling before heading back to their hotel together at 4am.

After his time on Geordie Shore, Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach, Ricci has taken a step back from TV. Nowadays he uses his social media to plug teeth whitening brands and holidays. And it looks like TV isn't the only thing Ricci is steering clear of - in 2018, the Geordie star told Star magazine "I'm happily single. Women are evil. God put them on this earth to hurt us!"

Therapist on Lauren Goodger's shock split: ‘She’s putting Larose’s needs before her own’

Lauren Goodger reveals meaning behind daughter's unique name

Lauren Goodger shares the fancy baby monitor she swears by – and it's on sale

Lauren finally achieved her dream of motherhood last year when she gave birth to her first child – but in July 2021, close pals revealed Lauren Goodger was already thinking about getting back her pre-pregnancy body.

Lauren, 34, has been blissfully soaking up new motherhood, saying, “I was born to be a mummy” and later posting, “My life is complete”. But just days after welcoming her daughter with boyfriend Charles Drury, 24, she began following “Fitso” Instagram pages, including a liposuction clinic and a weight- lifting champion.

A source told Closer, “Lauren’s in a total bubble of love with her little girl and can’t stop looking at her. But she’s also keen to be as healthy as she can for her so she wants to look into getting back into a routine. She’s researching how to sensibly go about toning and getting back to her best.

“She wants to do it as naturally as possible and has been doing loads of research on the Keto diet, but she’s also looked at the possibility of surgery or cosmetic procedures. She’s looking into a lipo sculpting procedure, which you can have a couple of months after having a natural birth.”

Lauren has been open about her weight struggles over the years. After creeping up from a size 8 to a 14, she went on a drastic health and fitness regime in 2015, losing 4st and dropping to a size 10. Before falling pregnant, she was reported to be a size 12-14 and embraced her curves, saying they made her feel “confident”.

Lauren – who is training to be an aesthetician and has her own Essex beauty salon, LG Aesthetics – has admitted to having a nose job, boob job, liposuction, Botox and fillers since finding fame, but has denied claims she’s had bum implants.

Just before giving birth, she admitted she “wants to get [her] body back” and was planning more surgery, saying, “I also want a little boy now… I want to get my body back and my boobs sorted... then get pregnant again.”

And insiders say the reason for her overhaul is because she is wanting to build a mummy/baby brand and is even considering a return to TOWIE with her new family in tow.

The source said, “Lauren’s really gearing up for this next chapter in her life. Not only is she overjoyed at becoming a mum, but she’s excited about the opportunities it gives her career.

“Her appearance is important to her, especially as she’s hoping to be back on TV soon, so she wants to look her best for it. She and Charles are already in talks to potentially return to TOWIE with the baby and Lauren loves that idea. She believes that her going back to the show is exactly what it needs to boost ratings and of course it will up her profile again.

“She’s excited by the idea of returning as the big star. She thinks that storylines around her, Charles and their gorgeous little girl will win fans’ hearts and joked that the three of them will save TOWIE!”

Closer recently revealed how Lauren had drawn up a back-to-work plan, which included following in the footsteps of her former co-stars Sam and Billie Faiers, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ferne McCann by creating her own mummy/baby brand. She’s also considering a reality baby show, podcast and maternity line.

While Charles is a builder, he’s also dabbled in rapping and recorded a video called Feelings in 2020. And an insider recently told Closer, “Lauren says turning Charles into a music star will give them the boost they need to become a power couple and a platform to build their brand. She has big plans for them both.”

Lauren rose to fame on TOWIE in 2010 alongside then-boyfriend Mark Wright, with their on/off relationship dominating the storylines of the first few seasons. After they split, Lauren quit the show, saying she “didn’t enjoy the drama”.

Mark went on to marry actress Michelle Keegan, with the pair last year being named as the “richest young couple on TV” with an estimated net worth of over £11m thanks to her acting career and fashion ranges, and his TV and radio presenting, as well as turning semi pro-footballer for Crawley FC.

Meanwhile, Lauren has done a number of stints on reality TV, and collaborated with fashion brands such as So Monroe and Fashion Capital, as well as running her salon. But since her last appearance on Celebs Go Dating in 2019, Lauren has been off TV screens – and pals say she’s hoping that becoming a mum could now be a chance for her to show off her new, perfect life.

The source says, “Lauren is known for being on TOWIE due to her toxic relationship with Mark – so she’d love to return with Charles and their baby, 10 years on, looking amazing and showing everyone how happy she is now. That would be the ultimate revenge on anyone who doubted her, and would really give her a sense of pride and achievement.

“She’s hoping for her own reality show, but is going to start a YouTube channel anyway if that doesn’t come off. She’s already started the ‘Laulie’ [a mix of Lauren and Charlie, rumoured to have been the baby’s name] Instagram page for her daughter, where she’ll likely promote her baby range. She’s seen the success other stars have had with their babies and wants to emulate it – especially as her little girl is so adorable! She has no doubt her fans will fall in love with her, too.”
