In an interview with a new! magazine the reality TV star revealed: ‘It’s something personal to me and it’s not something I pranced around telling everyone.’
The implants gave Lauren a much needed confidence boost. She said: ‘I wanted to make myself a bit sexier.’
Lauren maintained that she thought about her decision to go under the knife carefully before hand and that she did it for her own reasons.
‘Its not something I want to promote to younger girls because I’m 28 now and its something I’ve done personally for me. I felt like it was time.’
The star felt that yo-yo dieting has had an effect on the shape of her breasts, prompting her to consider implants.
‘I’ve always had big boobs and where I’ve done extreme yo-yo dieting, exercise and then not doing anything at all, I felt like my chest had lost a bit of volume.'
When asked if she felt any different after the surgery, Lauren said that she surprisingly didn’t, adding: ‘you kind of forget you’ve had them done…They’re very natural.’
The operation cost Lauren £6,000 and she used American actress Carmen Electra’s bust as inspiration.
Lauren was sure to show off her new additions to her Instagram in a series of selfies.
Lauren defended her revealing snaps, saying: ‘if I want have a selfie in a little vest top I’m going to do it… I’m not going to get my boobs done and then cover them up.’
Recently single Lauren also revealed that she is moving on from ex-boyfriend Jake McLean, but she added that she is still not ‘over it’ yet.
When asked about ex Mark Wright’s pending nuptials to Corrie babe Michelle Keegan, Lauren said: ‘I’m happy for them… I hope they have a beautiful wedding.’
