Lady Gaga has shown us, once again, exactly why her little monsters love her so much.

In a seriously frank talk about sexuality, the Born This Way songstress revealed why she loves lesbians so much - and she did it all while dressed as a mermaid. Because why not, eh?

"I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men when it comes to coming on to you, and I really like that. It wasn’t until I found a guy who could come on to me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love."

She added, imagery clearly inspired by looking down at her sea shell bra: "I’ve taken a few dips in the lady pond - I like girls."

"I know people think I just say things to be shocking but I like psy. It just depends whose psy it is. "

Which is, quite possibly, one of the wisest things we've ever heard anyone say about sexual preference - albeit put slightly crudely.

Lady Gaga also, while she had everybody's attention, took a moment to talk about Miley Cyrus and the recent scandal surrounding the We Can't Stop singer. Namely that naked Wrecking Ball video and her twerk-tastic performance at the MTV VMAs.

"I think everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone. It’s pop music, and everybody’s entitled to their own artistic expression and if you have a problem with that, just change the channel."

"I don’t understand the incessant need to go on and on about hating things... She’s 20 years old, and if anything, I give her props because she’s growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she’s not so happy with the things that she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free. Let her do what she wants."

You heard Lady Gaga, everyone - it's time to cut Miley Cyrus some slack and leave the girl to her own devices. If she wants to use nudity as a representation of her inner sadness, that's her deal.
