Following reports** Lady C** was considering suing ITV after being ‘bullied’ by Duncan, 66, the royal biographer, also 66, has now claimed he assaulted her.
A tweet from her account read: “Thanks 4 supporting Dima [her son] and me when Duncan physically assaulted me on TV and him at the base camp. Police came but haven’t pressed charges [sic].”
The incident Lady C is referring to allegedly took place during the ITV spin-off show.
A show source told The Sun: “Nobody saw it happen and just heard Dima yelling about it. But then it kicked off. The pair had a verbal stand-off and were shouting all sorts of things at each other.”
But entrepreneur Duncan has rubbished Lady C’s accusations. A viewer tweeted: “Did you mean to barge Lady C at the end of the show?”
Dragon’s Den star Duncan replied: “of course not. I did not even know I had until it was mentioned on Twitter [sic].”
Discussing her time on the show, Lady C insisted she was relieved to be voted off – so she could get away from Duncan and Tony Hadley.
She fumed: “I’m delighted to be out of the jungle, not because of the jungle, but because of the rats that were in the jungle – Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Creepsville.
“They ganged up against me to shut me down and turn me out. They never gave up on the constant harassment and bullying.”
With Lady C rumoured to have signed up for Celebrity Big Brother, which kicks of in January, this feud shows no sign of disappearing anytime soon…
