V Festival took a turn for the romantic this weekend after musician Labrinth proposed to his girlfriend onstage in front of thousands.

The singer reportedly stopped in the middle of his set to pop the question to girlfriend Muz in what might possibly be one of the most romantic moments int he festival’s history

A source told the Mirror: "He talked about loyalty before proposing and how his girlfriend had been with him since the start of his career and stood by him."

Fans were quick to share the news on social media.

One fan tweeted: "The fact that Labrinth proposed on stage at V is the cutest f***ing thing ever he's won my heart."

Another added: "@Labrinthda1st dude just proposed to his lady. Nice one mate. Love.#VFestival."

Labrinth has made a name for himself as a music producer and solo artist, producing hits for the likes of Tinie Tempah and Emile Sande.

Celebrities such as Katie Piper have been enjoying the 2 day music festival in Chelmsford, Essex, this weekend.

Along with Labrinth, the line up includes Calvin Harris and Ed Sheeran.
