Michael Jackson's sister La Toya has paid tribute to her late sibling on the seventh anniversary of his death and pleaded with fans to let him finally rest in peace.

The 60-year-old’s statement refers to the shock new allegations about the musician that came to light earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram to honour her brother she wrote: "Please! MAY WE ALL LET HIM RIP! June 25, 2009 #MichaelJackson The #KingOfPop."

The singer’s nephew TJ Jackson joined in on the tributes, saying: "His love, care and guidance was so real and so crucial for us. He is the greatest uncle ever."

The family’s pleas for closure come after a video was released showing police storming Michael’s Neverland Ranch where according to Radar Online they found ‘images of pornography, animal torture, S&M and gore to seduce young boys’.

Both Michael's daughter Paris and his estate have spoken out to furiously deny the claims with the latter releasing an official statement saying: ”Seven years ago this coming Saturday, the world lost an amazing artist and humanitarian devoted to helping children in need in all corners of the world. Michael Jackson's fans, including the Executors of his estate, prefer to remember the wonderful gifts Michael left behind instead of having to once again see his good name dragged through the mud by tabloid trash.

"Everything in these reports, including what the County of Santa Barbara calls 'content that appears to be obtained off the Internet or through unknown sources' is false, no doubt timed to the anniversary of Michael's passing.

"Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet 'click bait' ignore that he was acquitted by a jury in 2005 on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt.

"Michael remains just as innocent of these smears in death as he was in life even though he isn't here to defend himself. Enough is enough."
