Personal trainer Matt’s ex-girlfriend has claimed she’s carrying his baby – and insisted he’s refusing to take responsibility.
But Matt, 26, hit back on Twitter. He said: “I write this statement in response to a story in this morning’s paper and these will be my only comments on the matter:
“After ending our relationship I was then told at a later time by Danielle Ballard that she was pregnant with my child. I have since been told by Ms Ballard that I am not the father.
“Upon finding out otherwise I will honour my position a parent. I can categorically state that the breakdown of the relationship of myself and Danielle Ballard had nothing to do with Kym Marsh.”
At the weekend Danni told how she bumped into Kym, 39, and Matt as they shopped in Manchester, resulting in a furious showdown.
Seeing Matt shopping for children’s clothes with Kym and her daughter Polly allegedly caused Danni to confront him.
When she asked him what was going on, Matt reportedly told her to ‘go away’.
Danni is said to have turned to Kym, but told her friend: “She looked at my bump, then she turned her back on me. I said, ‘Do you think it’s acceptable that he looks after your child when he’s totally not acknowledged that I’m pregnant with his baby?’ She wouldn’t look at me at all.”
According to the Mirror, she told friends: “This has been the hardest time of my life. Matt needs to face up to his responsibilities – and, if he stays with Kym, she must help him see that.”
