Last night Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation to explain further lockdown measures, which included staying indoors for all reasons except exercise and a ban on working except for key workers.

Taking to Twitter to vent her frustrations, mum of four Kym said, “What does [Johnson] mean by travelling to and from work unless absolutely necessary? What is considered absolutely necessary?

“My son is a tiler going into other peoples’ homes, can’t work from home of is this necessary? I can’t do my job from home so s that ok? I’m confused, are you?”

And despite some taking to the comments to explain that “tiling someone’s house is not a necessity”, Kym was still insistent the statement was “confusing”, hitting back, “Not necessary to WHO? It’s necessary to him and his dad who is self-employed you ignorant ***+++ no one was clear! They said don’t TRAVEL to work unless necessary.”

Kym went on to clarify that she wasn't suggesting her son's work was necessary but that the message was unclear, saying, “Again this is what Boris said! I will just say, he says unless you can’t work from home, lots of people find their jobs necessary to stay afloat! And they CANT do their jobs from home. We are not all privileged enough to be paid no matter what! Goodnight twitter”.

And plenty agreed with her, with one writing, "My husband is a roofer and is unsure whether he should carry on going to work. Don’t think Boris made it clear enough."

Another said, "My son and husband are brickies and going to work tomorrow and will until they get same deal as employed it's a nightmare."
