After a recent feud with Denise Welch about mental illness, Katie Hopkins was quick to retweet a negative message on Twitter about the former Loose Women panellist.

It read: "@KTHopkins - Denise really is a poor old trout!!!! Loved that #dying."

Denise, obviously hurt by Katie’s actions, grabbed an image of the retweet, writing scathingly: “This is the kind of troll comment that KH retweets!

“Yet she still is employed by the media.”

And it seems as if Denise has found support in Coronation Street star Kym Marsh.

The mum-of-three wrote scathingly: “@RealDeniseWelch she's disgusting babe x”

It’s not the first time that Kym has spoken out against the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Kym said: “It’s a sad thing when the only way you can get attention is by being vile about people.

“Honestly, I can’t stand her… [and] Ibelieve in karma and I’m sure it will come back and haunt her.”

However, for now, Katie remains unrepentant about her behaviour.

She wrote on Twitter: “I speak my mind. I tell the brutal truth. And if you can't handle it then frankly, you are the weaker individual.”
