This time of year is always hard for Kym Marsh, who tragically lost her baby son Archie just moments after he was born prematurely at 21 weeks on 11th February 2009.

But the soapstar always makes sure to pay tribute to her and ex Jamie Lomas's beautiful little boy, who would have been six-years-old this year, in a very special and unique way.

This year, the 38-year-old was joined by her daughter Emilie, 17, son David, 19 and her fiancé Dan Hooper to light a special lantern for little Archie in the garden of her Manchester home.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Kym explained: "Each year we light a candle for Archie and put it by the box containing his ashes and the framed picture of Archie's footprints that I keep on the mantelpiece in my bedroom.

"In the evening, Dan, Emilie, David and I released a lantern at the same time as Archie was born, at 9.41pm.

"Polly was in bed by then but she knew it was his birthday; she gave the ashes box a little kiss. She says that Archie's her brother who lives with the angels."

Kym added that Dan has been her rock, explaining: "He's been amazing.

"Losing a child is really horrendous and I'm sure everyone understand that, but I think when you've got your own [Dan shares daughter Lexi, four, with ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Waring], you understand it that little but more.

"He's fantastic, a support to us all."

On the anniversary of Archie's passing, Dan also made sure to post a special message of support to his future bride.

He wrote simply: "All my love and hugs go to my amazing and brave fiancée @msm4rsh today.

"Happy birthday Archie. A beautiful angel that surrounds you everyday."
