It seems as if Kylie Minogue is set to follow in sister Dannii Minogue's footsteps and take her place on a reality television show. Although, unlike Dannii, the pint-sized songstress will be appeaing on BBC's The Voice, not ITV's The X Factor.
Kylie confirmed the news herself, explaining that she is "very excited" to be taking Jessie J's place on the show:
"I'm very excited to become a coach on The Voice UK. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series."
She added: "The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice UK gives us all a part to play in that."
And should Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am, who are both returning to the talent show, be worried about Kylie? Apparently so:
"Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"
Despite that fair warning, will.i.am seems to be looking forward to sharing a screen with the Kids singer, saying: "While I will miss Danny and Jessie, I'm excited to be returning for season three and to work with Kylie and Tom."
"Together we will mix it up and bring new energy and ideas to the show."
And Sir Tom, not to be outdone, added: "I'm really looking forward to series three of The Voice UK and although I'll miss Jessie and Danny, Kylie and the fourth coach will be a welcome addition to the line-up."
So who will be taking part as the fourth judge? Let us know who you'd love to see on the show below, stat!
