The pint sized pop star made the announcement earlier today after admitting the timing of her upcoming tour would clash with filming for the next series of the show.

The 45-year-old – who replaced Jessie J on the panel and was credited with boosting the ratings in the first few episodes – thanked her fans for their support, writing on Twitter:

"Due to timing of my tour I won't be back next season for The Voice UK. Thanks to all who supported! Hope to see you on my KMO tour!

We have to admit - we're going to miss Kylie's passion!

Kylie’s fellow panelists, will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Tom Jones have not yet confirmed whether they’ll be making a return to the show.

Jermaine Jackman was crowned the winner of this year’s competition, however his single, a cover of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going, is still outside of the top 40 chart.

Although the third series of the show saw ratings shoot up, with a peak of over nine million viewers, the live final was the least successful episode of the series.
