For most people, getting on the property ladder involves lots of headaches and jumping through windows. Once a mortgage is then granted your first home is usually a small house or a modest flat.
Not for 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.
The youngest Kardashian sister has reportedly purchased a $2.7 million mansion in Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas, just a few miles from the home she grew up in with her famous family.
To celebrate, Kylie decided to share a sneak peek of her new home with fans on Instagram.
She posted a snap of one of her rooms, decorated bare but complete with fireplace and light fixtures.
Kylie wrote beneath the pic: “So much work to still be done! IM SO EXCITED. The first thing I'm gonna open are my new @casper mattresses.”
Momager Kris Jenner revealed in December that she’s worried about her impending ‘empty nest’ following Kylie’s departure.
She told Oprah: “Khloé bought a house this year, and Kourtney bought a house this year, and Kendall bought a house this year, and Kim bought a new house this year. I do feel a little bit like it's an empty nest.”
“Kylie and I are going to be the last ones here. She keeps reminding me daily that she's 17 and there's only a few months left until she's 18. I ignore her because that's going to be weird and hard.”
