The blonde dancer, who is now dating former rugby player Ben Cohen, has been accused of starting a relationship with her dance partner before he was officially separated from his wife, Abby.
Mrs Cohen, who went into Twitter silence in the immediate aftermath of her marriage breakdown, has now decided to speak out, claiming this weekend to The Sun:
‘My husband who I was with for 23 years and unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect had left me for a f***ing Russian dancer.
‘The last two years have been the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me.
‘He’s done the dirty on me and I want people to know.
‘I don’t want to cause stress or further damage by stirring things up but I’m just trying to recover from what has been the most horrific time of my life.’
And now the accusations have reportedly got too much for Kristina, who is said to be ‘on the point of resigning.’
But with Strictly returning to screens next month, producers will be hard pushed to find a dancer as talented and as popular as Kristina, who has been with the show since 2008.
Kristina has not confirmed the rumours that she may be leaving the dance show, where she made her name.
