Former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff and Rugby player Ben Cohen recently announced the birth of their first child, a beautiful baby girl.
They said in a statement: 'Ben and Kristina are delighted to confirm they are the parents of a beautiful baby girl. They would like to thank friends and family for all their kind wishes at this happy time.'
Awwwww!
And now, a few weeks after enjoying some down time with their new bundle of joy, the couple have released a few further details – including her name!
In an interview with HELLO! Magazine, Kristina confirms that they chose the Slavic name Milena – that they shorten to Mila.
She also revealed she had to go through a gruelling 19-and-a-half-hour labour, where the cord was wrapped around Mila's neck.
She said: “I was squeezing Ben's hand so hard that I thought I might break it!”
Ben declared that he was extremely emotional during the birth and was in total awe of his girlfriend.
“Kristina is a natural mum.
“It was very emotional and it gives you even more respect – it's nature at its best. I'm proud of Kristina, proud of Mila and proud to be a dad again.”
After being partnered together on Strictly, Kristina and Ben took their romance public in July 2015 following Ben’s split from his wife Abby Cohen.
Ben and Abby’s divorce was finalised in March, and the pair share twins Harriette and Isabelle together.
The former Strictly dancer previously admitted her pregnancy wasn’t planned but “cried with joy” when she found out she was expecting 37-year-old Ben’s baby.
Congratulations again to Ben and Kristina!
