In the run up to the big day it was believed the couple would be attending Kimye’s nuptials, as Jay Z is a close friend of Kanye’s and has previously admitted he feels like a member of his family.
So it came as a massive surprise to everyone when, not only did they not turn up, Beyonce posted a selfie, followed by a photograph from Kim and Kanye’s Vogue shoot, wishing them a “lifetime of unconditional love”.
But Kris has now had her say on the whole affair, telling a reporter, when asked about the snub, “[I] just assumed they were working. There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought.”
The 58-year-old later added: “If you had been there, you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone's mind.”
Ouch. We think they’ll be taken off the Christmas card list. Pronto.
