Kourtney, 36, allegedly called time on their nine-year relationship when Scott, 32, was pictured partying in St. Tropez with his rumoured ex-girlfriend.

Despite this Kris, 59, thinks Kourtney and Scott – who share three children – could still work things out.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Kris said: "Scott is like my son. He came over yesterday. He was on his way over to see the kids. He's a great dad. They've got things to figure out."

But Kris is adamant she wouldn't try to influence Kourtney's decision. She continued: "I don't tell her things like that. Because I don't think that's my place.

"But my kids were brought up to be very forgiving people. My wish is that, you know, they work it out and figure it out and we'll see what happens."

Momager Kris also suggested Scott's feelings for his longterm partner haven't changed.

She added: "He's a great dad and he loves the kids and he loves Kourtney… I love him."
