Former TOWIE star Kirk, 27, has been given the task of organising his 38-year-old best mate's stag do, ahead of his wedding to Jo Mas next year.

Speaking to the Mirror, Essex boy Kirk insisted they'll be no naughtiness on Danny's 'last night of freedom'. Instead they'll be playing board games.

He said: "It's going to be a night in playing scrabble. Me and him used to play scrabble for hours. A couple of beers, a couple of cigarettes, and Danny would always win. His vocabulary is so big, he's very vocal.

"I'd like to set up a scrabble tournament. But I've got to keep some of it secret."

Kirk and Danny are so close that he's godfather to his and Jo's son Arty.

He continued: "I'm godparent to Danny's son Arty. Tamer Hassan introduced me to Danny, and since then I've never left his side. He's just so busy now.

"We're like brothers. I love him and we look out for each other. Growing up I loved Danny Dyer, and now he's sitting round my house and I'm the godfather to his son."

And Kirk insisted that, despite the criticism EastEnders star Danny sometimes faces in the press, he always puts his family first.

"He always gets bad stick but, to me, the Danny Dyer I know is a family man," Kirk added.
