But Kirk Norcross and Cami Li reportedly ended up throwing punches when they attended a photo shoot together recently.
According to sources, the former lovers had attended a photo call for MTV reality show Ex on the Beach before clashing in a taxi afterwards.
Their failed engagement is believed to have been the main topic of discussion, but 27-year-old Kirk allegedly brought 28-year-old Cami Li’s family into the argument.
An insider told The Sun: “The things Kirk was saying to Cami were absolutely disgusting and would horrify anyone. She flipped.
“She had scratches all over and was sending pictures to everyone. Kirk was telling everyone he’d been assaulted.”
Last month it was reported that former TOWIE hunk Kirk was kicked off Ex on the Beach, after his temper got the better of him.
During her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in January this year, stories emerged claiming that Cami Li had previously been arrested for assault, after attacking an ex-boyfriend with bleach in 2011.
Cami Li and Kirk called time on their relationship in 2013, with her tweeting cryptically: “Kirk and I are done. Sometimes your best isn’t enough when battling against someone’s demons.”
