Kimberley Walsh has spoken out to reassure her fans that her unborn baby is fine, following a nasty fall earlier this week.

The Girls Aloud singer slipped at the weekend and broke her wrist, but following a scan on Tuesday, has now revealed that both she, and the baby, are well.

Writing to her fans online, the Strictly Come Dancing star wrote:

“Just been for a check up & our little munchkin is fine! I successfully took the entire weight of my fall on my wrist so baby is very happy.

“The baby was literally waving at me to tell me everything's fine.”

The 32 year old found out she was expecting her first child, with boyfriend Justin Scott, on New Years day

She earlier revealed in an interview how her former bandmates reacted when they found out her happy news, admitting Cheryl Cole, burst into tears of joy when she broke the news.
