Kimberley, 33, shot to fame in the group in 2002, alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding.
But, while she’s stayed close to Cheryl, 32, and 30-year-old Nicola, Kimberley doesn’t mince her words when it comes to the current state of the former Popstars: The Rivals band.
Speaking to Event magazine, the mum-of-one said: “The band’s over, in my head at least.
“For Nadine the last years were a job: she just came back from America to work. Which was fine. But I don’t think anyone wants to get together now. We were young girls when we got in the band, and now we are women.”
Kimberley’s revelation comes after Sarah, 33, hit out at Nicola for not inviting her to her recent birthday celebrations.
Nicola was joined by Kimberley and X Factor judge Cheryl for her milestone birthday, but Sarah and Nadine were noticeably absent.
Sarah, who recently launched her solo career, told The Sun: “I didn’t get a f***ing invite to Nicole’s birthday!
“But you know what? I am independent so whatever. I nearly tweeted about it but I thought I better not. If I had an invite I would have gone but I didn’t.”
Nadine previously insisted she didn’t know Girls Aloud were disbanding until the decision had been made, a claim which Cheryl was quick to deny.
