Kimberley Walsh's due date is fast approaching - and the first-time mum is getting more and more excited at the prospect of meeting her son or daughter.

'I am sure that Cheryl will have on a nurse's uniform'

And, speaking during the Health Lottery Tea Party at London's Savoy Hotel, Kimberley told gossip site EntertainmentWise.com that she DOES have a shortlist of baby names - even iof she doesn't know the sex yet.

She said: "It's treating me well, I've been quite lucky so far.

"I've got a shortlist of boys and girls, but I'm not sold on anything yet. I feel like I need to see them and hopefully it will all make sense to me.

"With regards to me working, I think you just have to go with it and see how you feel.

"The good thing is we can always carry on working… I'll just have to find the right balance."

Kimberley later added to The Sun that best friend and Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole is heavily involved in the pregnancy - and even wants to be in the delivery room when Kimberley goes into labour!

She explained: "Cheryl wants to be a part of everything. She even gets excited about my morning sickness in a way 'cos it's all part of the baby package.

"I am sure that she'll have on a nurse's uniform – and be bossing people about if she could be at the birth. It's very sweet."

Kimberley is expecting her first child with partner Justin Scott in the middle of Cheryl's return to X Factor as one of the show's judges.

"I keep telling her that the baby is due during during X Factor," she said.

"So I think it's most likely it will be me, the baby and a big tub of popcorn watching the telly instead. She can babysit after."
