The former Girls Aloud singer, 32, stated that she wants her child to have the same kind of childhood that she had.

“It’s going to get so much love, but I’m going to make sure my baby’s not spoilt,” she told OK! Magazine. “My upbringing was very different to the life I live now, so I’ll keep things down to earth.”

Kimberley might have a bit of a problem in not spoiling her baby, if excited ‘aunties’ Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts have anything to do with it.

She said: “Nicola said in an interview that she cannot wait for me to have the baby so her and Cheryl can go crazy buying presents.

“They’ve actually started already, even though I told them I don’t want any clothes until the baby’s born. It’s sweet they’re so excited. We grew up together and they’re such good friends that they’ll feel like aunties.

She's glad she doesn't know the gender, so the girls can't go too mad with the presents

“I showed them the latest scan and they both said they already love the baby, even though they haven’t met it yet.”

But Kimberley admitted that she is thankful that she hasn’t found out if she is having a boy or a girl, so excited Nicola and Cheryl can’t go too crazy with the presents.

She added: “I’m thinking I might have to reign them in at some point. Perhaps it’s a good thing I don’t know the sex – they can’t buy as much!”
