Kimberley Walsh tells Lorraine Kelly about the "carnage" that happens when she and Cheryl get their kids together

Their friendship might have blossomed in their glamorous Girls Aloud days, but it looks like quality time is very different for Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl now that the pair are both mothers.

Kimberley's 9-month-old son, Noah, is around the same age as Cheryl's first son Bear, who is 5 months old. Kimberley also has an older son, Bobby, who is 3.

Speaking on Lorraine this morning to promote her new children's clothing line, Kimba Kids UK, Kimberley was asked by host Lorraine Kelly whether her and Cheryl had play dates together, to which she responded yes – and said they were "absolute carnage".

However, she spoke about how grateful she was that the pair were in it together, along with her other friends who had had babies around the same time.

"It’s like a creche basically, but so much easier as a mum to share those things."

She also opened up about the more unpleasant aspects of motherhood, which many mums will be able to relate to all too well.

"You’ll see me at an event and think I look glamourous but you don’t know I’ve just wiped sick off my shoulder, you just have to give yourself a little sniff before you go out!"

Well we think you hide it well, Kimberley!

We also got excited when Kimberley hinted at a Girls Aloud reunion on the horizon, saying: "You never know."

"I would [like to], Bobby is just starting to take an interest, things start coming on the TV, and he’s like ‘what are you doing?’"

Looks like Bobby has the right idea.
