During their last tour in 2013, Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding - who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2021 - were plagued by rumours of feuds. Now, however, the group are stronger than ever and thrilling fans across the UK with The Girls Aloud Show.
And Kimberley, 42, tells Closer how becoming a mum to sons Bobby, nine, Cole, seven, and Nate, two - with husband Justin Scott - has made her an even better performer.
"It gives you a completely different perspective on many things in life," she explains. "And actually, one of the areas where it's really helped me is performing.
It's made me less nervous, so whenever I do get the chance to perform, I see it as a privilege and a treat, and I just want to go out there and enjoy it. I could never really do that before - I'd always be so hard on myself and put loads of pressure on myself."
And with five kids between them, things have changed behind-the-scenes on tour, too, catering to family life.
Kimberley - who has partnered with Wickes to release a paint colour called Subtle Sage - says, "Unlike when we used to go on tour, now we each have our own dressing room, just so that we've got that space for our families.
"It was weird at first because we've always shared, but it was some advice that the JLS boys - who have just been on tour themselves - shared with me. We have our own rooms in each venue as family space, and then we come together as a group in another room."
