Huge congratulations are in order for Coronation Street's Kym Marsh as her daughter Emilie Cunliffe has announced her pregnancy
The 21-year-old, whose father is Kym's first partner Dave Cunliffe, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend of six months, who she has been close friends with for years.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Emilie revealed she was terrified of telling her dad the news, "I keep thinking, am I really going to be able to do this?
"For ages I couldn't actually get the words 'I'm pregnant' out of my mouth because I didn't know how people would react – I even made Mum tell my dad," she added. "Luckily, I have the most supportive parents in the world and they're both really excited."

Emilie may have been nervous to tell her dad, but Corrie star Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, revealed that she'd been right there with her when she'd taken the pregnancy test. The 42-year-old, who had Emilie's older brother David when she was 18, added that having a child at a young age is a family thing.

She said, "Being a young mum seems to be a pattern in my family. My mum was 18 when she had my brother, my sister was 18 when she fell pregnant and so was I. I've warned her that it's going to be hard work, but I've also said that there are a lot of positives to being a young mum, too."
Kym, who is also mum to seven-year-old Polly with her ex-husband Jamie Lomas, continued, "There were times when I struggled because your life changes so much when you have a child especially when you are young, but I wouldn't change what I have now for the world.
"Me, Emilie and David are best friends and I think that's because there isn't a huge age gap between us."
