It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian is desperate to give 22-month-old daughter North a younger brother or sister, and she has no spoken about her struggle to fall pregnant on US television.
The reality star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to promote her new book ‘Selfish’ when the conversation drifted to the topic of her growing family.
The 34-year-old explained to Kimmel that she and husband Kanye West were ‘exhausted’ from their efforts to conceive.
Kim said: “We are trying. We try every single day. You can't try harder than we try.
“It's getting exhausting. He always says, 'Trying for baby No. 2 isn't as fun as trying to baby No. 1'."
Kim also added that she wants to wait “a couple of years” before starting to consider surrogacy as an option.
She also gave some insight into the couple’s (not so) glamorous home life.
"We love to work out together. We love to have the TV on and I'm cooking and we're playing with our daughter. You know we have this routine…[we] love being together."
One year on from their opulent Florence wedding, Kim maintains that their relationship is stronger than ever.
She explains: “They say that the first year and everything in marriage is the hardest, and I'm like, 'If this is the hardest, then life is going to be really good - because it's just not hard'."
